Storyline

Olik is a monochromatic film about an author who pursues his passion for writing, focusing on schizophrenia and the constant need for validation and companionship. Inspired by real-life consequences, the film uses a black and white scape, evoking nostalgia and dark melancholia. The protagonist, a supposed schizophrenic, clings to a Matryoshka tiger doll to symbolize dependency and its consequences. After losing the doll, he realizes he cannot cope with the consequences. The film ends with the protagonist writing about himself, highlighting the never-ending loop of his story.
